Dear Peeps
As I mentioned in my newsletter of the 28th February I’ve been thinking a lot about family and also others around me with health issues. I also heard of the sudden and unexpected death, on Wednesday night, of a friend. This has reminded me that one of the things the pandemic and lockdowns gave me/us was the opportunity to reassess and reset our lives in every way. My thoughts go to what is actually important to me, what do I really need, how can I be kinder and more generous and forgiving to others? There is a lovely quote, that I like to remember, by the Persian sage Rumi, “You were born with potential. You were born with goodness and trust. You were born with ideals and dreams. You were born with greatness. You were born with wings. You are not meant for crawling, so don't. You have wings. Learn to use them and fly.” Let’s learn to fly, to leave behind fear and anxiety etc. Let’s enjoy each moment that life brings.
Favourite YouTube of the week
Building The NEW EARTH, Humanity's Great Opportunity - w/ Zach Bush MD | Know Thyself Podcast EP 32. This has been such an uplifting and inspirational interview to watch and listen to, not only for the words and energy of Zach but also to meet the extraordinary interviewer, André Duqum. Music I’ve been listening to this week
The music I’ve been listening most to this week is my own chanting. The sounds I chant as part of my morning meditation, looking for sounds that resonate with my body and my soul.
Book of the moment
I began a new book yesterday, given to me by a dear friend. The Celtic Chakras by Elen Sentier. “...the Celtic Shaman does not journey simply from bottom to top following the rainbow colours. The Celtic shaman always works in spirals:…” I have long been in love with spirals so I can tell I’m going to love reading this book.
Well, that’s me for this week. I wish you all a weekend that fills and regenerates you in all the right places.
Blessings
Trishx
