Greetings and salutations lovely peeps
In September I mentioned that I often didn’t have time to process my emotions. Well, life gave me the time via a chest infection early in the month. I used the time to reflect and do my own work releasing new and old stress from my body. This has made me really think about stress more deeply. I’m trying to be more conscious of the stress in my body and the unconscious behaviours and patterns that I hold. So as we move into the yin season of winter it’s a great time for reflection and introspection. A time to question my behaviours and patterns and notice what increases my energy frequency and what depletes it.
So, stress has been on my mind. There are so many coughs and colds about this season change. A consequence of a depressed immune system due to stress, anxiety and fear. This is a time to take care to keep your kidneys and bladder warm making sure not to get a chill in them. The kidney is regarded as the body's most important reservoir of essential energy, so if you feel you’re losing ‘power’ this season make sure your kidney area doesn’t get chilled.
As you probably know, your mind is an incredibly powerful tool, but it usually checks out/switches off when we’re stressed. So if you become aware that you’re not thinking straight, can’t sit still or your heart is racing (and a long list of symptoms) you are probably stressed or anxious. Small things you can do to help alleviate these symptoms include:
stay hydrated and eat well (this is usually a time when you just put something in the microwave because you can’t be bothered to cook)
Prioritise exercise, especially if you don’t feel like it. By doing something, anything, you will get your endorphins flowing and feel the change.
Get outside and into nature – a real easy, natural stress remedy. You don’t have to do anything - just be out in nature, in the energy of the earth, sky, trees and plants.
Many therapies help regulate and ground your nervous system helping you manage stress and anxiety. During Craniosacral Therapy you may notices your internal sensations, the changes and the information from your inner wisdom while your therapist is paying attention to the sensations and changes they notice underneath their hands. Both client and therapist being curious about what’s happening.
Just like a single cell, the character of our lives is determined not by our genes but by our responses to the environmental signals that propel life.

Intention Experiment
I took part in Lynne McTaggart’s Israeli/Palestinian Peace Intention earlier in the month. It was an amazing experience to be connected to so many people holding an open heart and peace for these two countries and peoples. It reminded me that peace always begins at home, with me. Am I at peace with myself and those in my world? If not, am I doing something about it? I often use the Ho'oponopono ‘mantra’ in these situations - I love you, I’m sorry, Forgive me, Thank you.
What I’ve been watching this month. Besides my usual astrology and Lee Harris webinars I’ve been drawn to and have been watching sacred geometry, particularly the geometry of healing with Meredith Sands Keator, and looking at using sacred geometry in my painting. https://www.geometryofhealing.com/
