Friday 5 Minute Finale 6

Dear Peeps

I haven’t had the head space for the last couple of weeks to think about much more than being with and supporting our family’s next generation, as have my siblings (mothers all) and a close friend with her child. It did get me thinking though about the role that mothers (and grandmothers) play in the family. We are often the pillars of strength in families, (even when we’re not particularly feeling it) providing unconditional love, nurturing support, physically and spiritually and a listening ear during difficult times. I remember my mother doing this for me when I was very ill and my children were very young. Does this have a domino affect into the generations beyond? Yes it very definitely does.

Quote of the week

The body has it's own language that is older and more primal than most of us realise.

Favourite YouTube of the week

The only podcast I've listened to this week has been Lee Harris' April Energy Update which I always find interesting and informative. Watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6m51u7qb5s

Growing things this week

This weekend we readied our garden for this summer’s veggie crop and I’ve been getting excited to see, first cabbage plants sprouting and then cucumber. I’m looking forward to seeing them in the garden. I’m also picking nettles from a patch in my garden to cook with spinach or cabbage (delicious).

Well, that’s me for this week. I wish you all joy and spring blessings with the changing intensity of the light and the lengthening of the days.

Blessings

Trishx
