August 2023 Newsletter

Greetings and salutations lovely peeps

Well now that August is behind us it feels like back to business for me. I’ve had a lovely work-cut-down August. We’ve visited family and had family visit us. It’s always so good to be with our youngest generation (the older ones too).

A little September advice

Take ownership of your health: You are the only one who can truly take charge of your health and well-being. Make it a priority to eat well, exercise regularly, and take care of yourself both physically and mentally.

Seek out the support you need: Whether you need a therapist, a nutritionist, or a CranioSacral therapist like myself, don't hesitate to reach out for help when you need it. There is no shame in seeking support when you need it.

Be proactive, not reactive: Rather than waiting for health problems to arise, be proactive about your health. Regular CranioSacral therapy sessions can help keep your body in balance and prevent problems before they start.

Trust in the power of your body: Your body has an incredible ability to heal itself, given the right conditions. You can unleash the power of your body's natural healing abilities by supporting your body with healthy food, exercise, and CranioSacral when necessary.

Embrace a holistic approach: True health and well-being require a holistic approach that addresses the whole person, not just individual symptoms or conditions. By working with a CranioSacral therapist like myself or another therapy that feels right, you can tap into the power of holistic healing and achieve optimal health and well-being.

At this time of season change it’s important to begin to think of maintaining good health for you and your family over winter. I’m a great fan of Floradix for season change health boosts.

I signed up for the Heart Coherence 30 day Challenge - 30 days of daily meditations. Not all my cup of tea, but interesting nonetheless. I also wanted to support and be part of increasing heart energy on the planet (and beyond) at this time in our history. You can access these meditations and interviews @ https://www.youtube.com/c/HeartCoherenceCollaborative

King Street Studios has an exhibition of it’s artists at the Cornerstone Cafe in Sulyard Street, Lancaster and this week I helped hang a new exhibition. If you’re in town do drop in and have a look.

We are at the end of harvesting our veggies – only a few tomatoes left. I will begin to plant (for the first time) a winter crop of greens to harvest. I have kale seeds in and will sow some spinach.

We had a full super moon in Pisces on Wednesday and this one was also a blue moon. (Blue Moon is the third full moon in a season that has four full moons, according to NASA.)

“Pisces medicine draws us into that mystery, imploring us to let go of expectations and hoped-for outcomes, allowing the complex weave of life to surprise us with its myriad possibilities. It is where we practice the art of surrender.”

~ John Wadsworth, Astrologer
