Friday 5 Minute Finale 7

Dear Peeps

Isn’t it wonderful to see and feel the heat of the sun again and to be able to get laundry dried. No more damp clothing hanging around the house. This week I’ve still been pondering the health of our bodies and ways in which we can harness and improve/heal our biology by visualisation and energy. I believe this requires an investment in vigilance and consistency.

I’ve also been feeling the strong energy of this new moon in Aries and the rare hybrid solar eclipse. A potent time for healing.

A short blog on CranioSacral Therapy and migraine

CST can be an effective and non-invasive treatment option for people who suffer from migraines. By addressing the underlying tension and imbalances in the craniosacral system, this therapy can help to relieve pain, reduce the frequency and intensity of migraines, and improve overall well-being. Quote of the week

The chemicals that are running our body and our brain are the same chemicals that are involved in emotion. And that says to me that . . . we’d better pay more attention to emotions with respect to health. -Candace Pert

Growing things this week

This week I’ve been watching my beans grow in our pop-up nursery. I’ll be planting them out this weekend along with the cucumber. I’ve been watching my excitement at this simple event with interest.

I have also been harvesting my nettle, sorrel and dandelion crop and foraging for wild garlic. So we’ve been eating freshly picked nettle with spinach and cabbage and in rice and stews and I’ve found new salad recipes using dandelion. I’m setting up our gut microbiome for the year. I’ve also put dandelion flowers in oil to macerate for a salve and the whole plant to steep in alcohol for a tincture. I love this preparation of herbs and weeds for teas and medicine.

I wish you all peace and joy this week and if you are making a garden or planting living things may they nourish you. If not, take a walk outside and acknowledge and enjoy all things growing.

Spring Blessings
